Shifts between the hours of: 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday with an occasional Saturday
Great Benefits! $16.00 per hour.
Bank Teller Job Responsibilities:
- Serves customers by completing account transactions
- Provides account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing saving with drawls, and recording night and mail deposits
- Answers questions in person or on telephone and refers customers to the other bank services as necessary
- Records transactions and prepares currency transaction reports
- Cross-sells bank products by answering inquiries, informing customers of new services and product promotions
- Ascertaining customer’s needs and directing customers to a branch representative as needed
- Reconciles cash drawer by proving cash transactions, counting and packaging currency and coins
- Maintains customer confidence and protects bank operations by keeping information confidential
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Bank Teller Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to process transactions quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Organization skills
- Computer literacy
- Time-management and teamwork skills
